The oral doctoral examination of Elizabeth Gleesing, candidate for the Ph.D. degree  will be held on Monday, April 17, at 9 a.m. in the Hall of Languages, room 401A.

Gleesing’s advisor is Professor Roger Hallas. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Carol W.N. Fadda and Christopher Hanson. Professor Kendall R. Phillips will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Second-Person Surveillance: Politics of User Implication in Digital Documentaries.”
