The Iranian Student Association invites you to attend Yalda Night! On this special night, we cheer Yalda Night by celebrating the longest night of the year, which is on Dec. 21 of every year. It is the most celebrated traditional event in Iran, with poetry, eating and gathering together by having watermelons and pomegranates. People share poetry and sing, especially Hafez and the “Shahnamneh,” until after midnight.
This event will be held in Farsi-Persian and is open to anyone interested in learning about the Iranian culture and how we celebrate Yalda Night.
This event was published on December 5, 2023.
