Led by Imam Amir Durić and Rabbi Ethan Bair, who serve together as chaplains at Hendricks Chapel of Syracuse University, all are invited to “Taste of Dialogue: Empathy and Ethics in Judaism and Islam” on Dec. 13 from 6:00-7:30 PM in the Peter Graham Scholarly Commons (Room 114) of Bird Library.

To explore themes of empathy, shared values, and ethical principles through the rich traditions of Judaism and Islam, Durić and Bair aim to foster a space for open conversation, compassion, understanding, and connection.

Whether you identify with the Jewish or Muslim traditions or are simply curious about these distinctive worldviews, “Taste of Dialogue” invites attendees into a meaningful conversation that seeks to transcend boundaries and serve our common good.
