TA Program workshop: “Grading as a TA”

TA Program Workshop: Overwhelmed by a pile of student papers and a rubric you didn’t create? Unsure of how to give feedback as a TA? This workshop, led by PhD students in the Writing Studies, Rhetoric, and Composition department, will offer tips and tools for grading more efficiently and more effectively. Curtis and Molly [who also work with Writing Across the Curriculum and the Writing Center, respectively] will offer their own approaches to grading while also offering broader advice on navigating rubrics and other grading schemas, designing assignments, and developing open communication with students, fellow TAs, and professors.
