The oral doctoral examination of Nan Thuzar Myint, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Wednesday, January 11, at 1 p.m. in the Center for Science & Technology, room 1-132 and via Zoom.

Myint’s advisors are Professors Philip N. Borer and Yan-Yeung Luk. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors John M Franck, Joseph Chaiken, and Olga V. Makhlynets. Professor Ramesh Raina will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Development of a Novel Bistable DNA Sensor for Anti-HIV Drug Discovery and Re-engineering of Recombinant Cyclin T1-Tat Protein with SUMO Fusion in Escherichia Coli.”
