The oral doctoral examination of Emily Helminen, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, January 27, at 9 a.m. via Zoom.
Helminen’s advisor is Professor Jillian Scheer. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Tanya Eckert and Sarah Woolf-King. Professor Rachel Razza will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Effects of a Brief Group-Based Compassion Intervention on Physiological and Subjective Stress Reactivity.”
