Art & Music Histories is pleased to welcome Dr. Marica Tacconi, Distinguished Professor of Musicology and Art History, Pennsylvania State University, as part of AMH’s colloquium series.

This talk will examine three Venetian songbooks that were thought to preserve solo songs and arias written by seventeenth-century Italian composers that appear to be products of the Seicento, but that are actually elegant forgeries, produced sometime between 1912 and 1916/17.
