The oral doctoral examination of Chaitanya Afle, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Tuesday, May 23, at 2:30 p.m. in the Physics Building, room 202.
Chaitanya Afle’s advisor is Professor Duncan Brown. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Eric R Coughlin and Alexander Harvey Nitz. Professor Laura-Anne Minkoff Zern will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Neutron Star Interiors: From Proto-Neutron Stars To Galactic Pulsars.”
