Diwali Will Light up the Orange Grove in November

On Thursday, November 9, students in Romita Ray’s Art and Architecture of India class will join other students, faculty and staff from across campus to illuminate the Orange Grove in honor of Diwali, the festival of lights in India, from 5:30 p.m. onward. The illuminations will be accompanied by spectacular Rangoli designs created by NOMAS (National Organization of Minority Architecture Students) in the School of Architecture. This is the third consecutive year that NOMAS is collaborating with Professor Ray who has been organizing this annual illumination evening on campus since 2015.

All are invited to participate.
