About Jen Wilson
Jen Wilson was born and raised in Louisiana, the product of a National Guard town and the proud granddaughter of a D-Day and Battle of the Bulge survivor. It was her grandfather’s legacy that instilled in her an appreciation for service members and their sacrifices. Like many Americans, Jen’s worldview shifted dramatically after Sept. 11, 2001. The tragic event inspired her to move to New York City, where she earned a position at NBC’s corporate fitness facility and began learning the art of logistics and television production from NBC employees and on-air talent. Concurrently, watching the men and women she grew up with go off to Iraq and Afghanistan reignited the fire in her to serve those who answered our nation’s call to arms. She co-founded the NBC Veterans Network at 30 Rock during her tenure at NBC, then went on to co-found and become COO of Army Week Association.
Along with her Afghanistan evacuation efforts, Jen has traveled to Ukraine multiple times since March 2022, delivering Tactical Combat Casualty Care supplies to to pediatric trauma hospitals, Armed Forces of Ukraine Medic Corps and 25 combat teams with American veterans fighting in Ukraine. To date, she and Army Week Association have delivered over $700,000 worth of supplies, equipment and training to Ukraine and our Allies.
