Please join Syracuse University Libraries for an interactive training session where we’ll delve into the practical applications of Global Think Tanks and North American City Reports, two databases available to the Syracuse University community on the Policy Commons platform. Lenny Rogers and Yoomna Rahim will lead you through hands-on exploration of both collections: highlighting the breadth of policy content available for students, researchers and faculty, and the powerful research tools offered by Policy Commons for maximizing your research. Attendees will walk away with a deeper understanding of the platform through real-life application of areas of interest at Syracuse University and the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.

Lunch will be provided by Coherent Digital. Please bring a laptop or borrow one from the Libraries for this event. Registration is limited to 25 attendees so register today.

Global Think Tanks indexes and links to more than 4 million reports, working papers, policy briefs, data sources, and media drawn from a curated directory of more than 24,000 think tanks, including IGOs, NGOs, and research centers.

North American City Reports preserves the full text of surveys, budgets, statistical records, case studies, planning documents, training manuals, policy guidelines, reports, and news from the five hundred largest cities in Canada and the United States.
