Family Pictures Syracuse: Photo-Sharing Day

The Department of English invites community members to bring their cherished family photographs into a public setting as an opportunity to tell their stories. Photo-share attendees will have the opportunity to have their images and stories documented at three different stations—a recorded interview station (where participants use their photographs to orate their family stories for the camera), a digitization station (where participants can have their photographs scanned), and a portrait station (where attendees will have their photographic portrait taken holding their photos).
This event is part of a weekend series of activities relating to Allen’s community-engaged “Family Pictures” project:
