The 2023-24 Remembrance Scholar cohort will honor the victims of the Pan Am Flight 103 bombing, which claimed the lives of 35 students studying abroad with Syracuse University on Dec. 21, 1988. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the bombing. Scholars will lay roses and stones at the memorial wall at the Place of Remembrance, in front of the Hall of Languages.
