Celebrating Disability Awareness @ SU

Join us as poets discuss what constitutes disability poetics and the importance of disability culture as we celebrate the launch of the new video series, Disability Poetics.

This event is free and open to the public, and includes live captioning, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, and image descriptions, where applicable.

This event features Meg Day, Cyrée Jarelle Johnson, Stephen Kuusisto, and Naomi Ortiz, and moderated by Kenny Fries.

Funding for Disability Poetics is supported in part by a three-year multi-project grant awarded to Kenny Fries by the Canada Council and the Arts and by the Office of Interdisciplinary Programs and Outreach in the Burton Blatt Institute at Syracuse University.
