About JPS Engineering: John P Stopen Engineering, LLP was founded in 1968, and located in downtown Syracuse, we provide structural and geotechnical engineering services for buildings and related site improvements. Our work includes building foundation and structural designs; geotechnical investigations; preparation of contract documents (drawings and specifications); renovations, restorations and forensic analysis of nearly all building types. Construction costs of projects have ranged from minimal to $250 million dollars. Our clients include architects, developers, contractors, corporations, governmental agencies, and academic institutions.
