Fast Lane Hand Scanning Enrollments

The Housing, Meal Plan, and I.D. Card Services Office is hosting fast lane hand scanning enrollment sessions at Ernie Davis, Graham, and Shaw dining centers on Tuesday, Sept. 19 from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
If you are on an unlimited or block meal plan, you are eligible to enroll! This means you get to skip the swipe-in line and enter any dining center with a literal wave of your hand. Syracuse University implemented hand-scanning technology in 2021 to facilitate a quicker, contactless entrance into campus dining centers. The hand-scanning option is available to all students on an unlimited or block meal plan.
Step one is to register your hand with Housing, Meal Plan, and I.D. Card Services. Stop by, scan your palm, and start bypassing the swipe lines at dining centers.
