The D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) invites Syracuse University students, faculty, and staff as well as the larger Syracuse community to join us to hear medal of honor recipient, David Bellavia, speak on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 3 – 4 pm. David Bellavia is one of two living Iraq War veterans to receive the Congressional Medal of Honor, which is our country’s highest military honor. The Medal of Honor was awarded at the White House on June 25, 2019, surrounded by his family and every living member of his Task Force. Learn more about David Bellavia.
