VPA “Orange Around Town” Syracuse Immersion

The College of Visual and Performing Arts is excited to announce the launch of the 2023 VPA Syracuse Immersion!

This unique experience is an opportunity for first-year and transfer students (including first-semester transfers) of VPA to explore careers and interact with local alumni, employers, and industry professionals throughout the Syracuse area and help you further your personal and professional development.

The format for this program allows students to visit companies and engage with key external partners to the University, within their own office setting, to gain a better understanding of different corporate cultures, day-to-day life on the job, and potential internship opportunities.

Fees:

• The is no fee associated with this event!
• The ALL-DAY experience includes transportation and lunch.

Deadline:
Completed applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, September 10.

Selection:
All completed applications will be reviewed by a selection committee on Monday, September 11, and students that are selected will be notified on Tuesday, September 12.

Expectations:

• Accepted students must attend an info session on either September 19 (5-6 p.m.) or September 20 (noon-1 p.m.).
• All students are required to stay with the group.
