The oral doctoral examination of Alex O’Connell, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Tuesday, April 9, at 4 p.m. in the Hall of Languages, room 401A and via Zoom.
O’Connell’s advisor is Professor Carol Fadda. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Susan Edmunds, Dorri Beam, and Chris Eng. Professor Michael Gill will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “”Pained Subjects: Self-harm, Sexual Health, and US Citizenship”.”
