Faculty Symposium: Trauma-Informed Teaching

This half-day seminar for faculty will be led by Janice Carello, a faculty member at Pennsylvania Western University and an expert on trauma-informed teaching. Participating faculty will gain insights into how to foster a trauma-informed learning environment and practical and important tools for enhancing teaching practices and supporting students. Two afternoon sessions will focus on creating connection in the classroom and  creating a trauma-informed learning environment. More information about each session is available on the registration page.

Lunch will be served and a reception will follow. The symposium is sponsored by Faculty Affairs, the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence and the Office of Strategic Initiatives. Registration deadline is April 1.
