German author Marcello Liscia will present and read excerpts from his recent LGBTQ+ novel, Ein verregneter Sommer (Italian: Un’estate piovosa; English: A Rainy Summer) on April 16, 2024 from 2:00-3:00 p.m.
The novel is about a teenager from Italy who spends the summer working and falling in love in a rather conservative environment in Germany in the 1950s.
Marcello Liscia will be reading in German, Italian and English.
