Description: Mentors at every stage are critical for success in higher education and postdocs serve an important role mentoring graduate and undergraduate students. Throughout their academic careers, postdocs themselves have experienced various mentor relationships – but are they actively thinking about how to mentor others effectively? Celebrated mentor to undergraduate students, Dr. Ivany will lead a conversation on mentoring and suggest some tools for how postdocs can be successful models and leaders.
