The oral doctoral examination of Aatif Abbas, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Monday, April 22, at 10 a.m. in the Hall of Languages, room 538.
Abbas’s advisor is Professor Kenneth Baynes. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Verena Erlenbusch-Anderson, Glyn Morgan, and Monique Deveaux. Professor Timur Hammond will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Global Justice Through Poor People’s Perspectives.”
