The oral doctoral examination of Laura Streib, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Wednesday, April 24, at 10 a.m. in Heroy Geology Building, room 217.
Streib’s advisor is Professor Christopher Scholz. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Jeffery Stone, Simon Armitage, Tripti Bhattacharya, and Melissa Chipman. Professor Christopher R. DeCorse will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “African Hydroclimate in the Quaternary: Diatom Paleoecology and Geochronology.”
