Dissertation Defense: Yue Sun

The oral doctoral examination of Yue Sun, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Monday, April 29, at 11:00 a.m. via Zoom.

Sun’s advisors are Professor Shannon M. Monnat and Jennifer Karas Montez. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors  Rebecca L. Schewe, Tse-Chuan Yang, and Ethan D. Coffel. Professor Jun Li will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Explaining Geographic Disparities in Cardiovascular Disease Mortality: The Roles of Physical Environment, Industry Structures, and State Policies.”
