Syracuse University math professor Moira McDermott holds her copy of “Power in Numbers.”

Hendricks Chapel in collaboration with First Year Seminar is hosting a dialogue in continuation of efforts of the 39th Annual MLK Celebration. This year’s theme was Access to the Dream, and our keynote speaker, Dr. Talithia Williams asked a thought-provoking question “If Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was still alive, what do you think would be his continued dream?”

Join us as we dive deep into discussion to culminate Black History Month. Each participant will receive a copy of Power in Numbers: The Rebel Women of Mathematics by Dr. Talithia Williams. We have a limited capacity of 20 participants, so copies of the book will be given out to registered participants only.
