2024 AFHVS-ASFS Conference Right to Food-Food as Commons

Join us for the 2024 Agriculture, Food & Human Values Society (AFHVS) and the Association for the Study of Food and Society (ASFS) Conference is June 5-8 in Syracuse, NY.

Attendees will have the opportunity to experience early summer in the beautiful Finger Lakes region, enjoy fresh local cuisine, and interact with knowledgeable presenters and notable keynote speakers, including Michael Fakhri and Leah Penniman.

This year’s theme Right to Food–Food as Commons, will invite discussions on the need to frame the human right to food and nutrition as a global effort that integrates a vision of self-determination and cooperation – locally and across borders.
