National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Application-Writing Workshop

Led by Claudia Kinkela, this workshop will provide an overview of NEH programs and grant opportunities and focus on writing a competitive application for peer review. Claudia is Senior Program Officer in the NEH’s Division of Research, where she has served as the team lead for the NEH Fellowships Program for over a decade.

As part of this site visit, the NEH is offering the opportunity for a limited number of in-person one-on-one afternoon consultations for individuals with existing projects in development. The deadline to register for one-on-one consultations is February 19, 2024. Faculty with one-on-one consultations will be required to share a ½ to 1 page project description with the program officer at least one week prior to the workshop.

In-person attendance is strongly encouraged. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Morning presentations will be live-streamed via Zoom webinar for those who cannot attend in person.
