Typing to Communicate is one method used in accessing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) equipment. This two-day online workshop provides the opportunity to learn the techniques necessary to be a facilitator within the context of the principles common to all communication support approaches. We will discuss the “why” and “how” of typing to communicate, along with strategies for integration in school and community settings. ICI staff will work with participants to establish a plan for continued support after the zoom training.
We continue to offer this event virtually on Zoom for participants who find it difficult to travel. Attendees will receive the links to attend closer to the workshop. Included in this workshop there will be an in-person follow up session for local attendees, and a remote follow up session for out-of-town participants.
March 25 and 26 from 11:00am to 2:00pm each day
