Dissertation Defense: Joseph Shupperd

The oral doctoral examination of Joseph Shupperd, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Tuesday, May 7, at 1 p.m. in the Physics Building, room 202.

Shupperd’s advisor is Professor Steven Blusk. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Marina Artuso, Matthew Rudolph, and Rafael Silva Coutinho. Professor Monica Deza will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Design, Construction and Installation of the Upgrade Tracker(UT) in the LHCb experiment.”
