College of Visual and Performing Arts Master’s Hooding Ceremony

The hooding of master’s candidates prior to Commencement is a special tradition at the College of Visual and Performing Arts and symbolizes the culmination of graduate studies and the degree recipient’s transition from student to colleague. Members of the Class of 2024 receiving master’s degrees will be individually recognized and hooded by faculty from their disciplines.

A livestream link will be available prior to the ceremony on the Commencement Weekend event schedule page. The livestream will begin casting 10-15 minutes prior to the event’s start time.
