The oral doctoral examination of Cassaundra Guzman, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, May 23, at 10 a.m. in 220 Huntington Hall.
Guzman’s advisor is Professor Gretchen Lopez. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Michael Gill and Mario Perez. Professor George Theoharis will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Las Voces Poderosas: Valuing Latine Undergraduate Perspectives When Re-Assessing Holistic Student Supports at Predominantly white Institutions.”
