Awareness Yoga is a total fitness experience, including all systems of the body, emotional and spiritual wellness. It is welcoming to all body types and levels of fitness. This yoga class takes you back to the basics of yoga as a spiritual practice. This practice will help you guide your body through postures mindfully, developing the body/mind awareness to navigate your everyday life. We will begin with a short silent meditation, move through classic yoga postures and end with a guided meditation. JoAnn Cooke, Buddhist Chaplain and certified yoga teacher, and Olivia Matz, student meditation leader and longtime yoga practitioner, will lead. Drop-ins are welcome!
