Dissertation Defense: Diana Brown

The oral doctoral examination of Diana Brown, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, April 18, at 2 p.m. in 307 Tolley.

Brown’s advisor is Professor Joanne Waghorne. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors James W. Watts and William Robert. Professor Elisabeth D. Lasch-Quinn will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Initiated Reading: Occult Hermeneutics in Helena Blavatsky’s Isis Unveiled.”
