The oral doctoral examination of Lauren Cooper, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, April 18,  at 1 p.m. in 401A Hall of Languages and via Zoom.

Cooper’s advisor is Professor Michael Goode. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Crystal Bartolovich and Coran Klaver. Professor Romita Ray will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Climate Justice Before the Anthropocene: How Inclement Weather Shaped British and Irish Romanticism.”
