The oral doctoral examination of Jeung Hyun Kim, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Monday, May 13, at 11 a.m. in 314A Lyman Hall.
Kim’s advisor is Professor Merril Silverstein. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Janet Wilmoth, Marc Garcia, and Amy Lutz. Professor Jaipaul Roopnarine will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Multiculturalism and the Wellbeing of Older U.S. Immigrants.”
