The oral doctoral examination of Jacob Migdail-Smith, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, April 5, at 10:30 a.m. in Lyman Hall, room 126.
Migdail-Smith’s advisor is Professor Stephan Wehrli. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors William Wylie and Lee Kennard. Professor Jay Hubisz will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “The Functoriality of Odd Khovanov Homology up to Sign and Applications.”
