The oral doctoral examination of Ayse Duygu Cakirsoy Aslan, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Wednesday, April 10,  at 2 p.m. via Zoom.

Cakirsoy Aslan’s advisor is Professor Matthew Mulvaney. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Rachel Razza and Merril D. Silverstein. Professor Dessa K. Bergen-Cico will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “The Role of Acculturation Strategies in Relation to Honor and Sexuality Attitudes, Sexism, Conservatism, and Religiosity Among Turkish Immigrants Living in the U.S..”
