The oral doctoral examination of Andrew Ridgeway, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, February 1, at 10 a.m. in Tolley 304.
Ridgeway’s advisor is Professor Lois Agnew. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Collin Gifford Brooke, Krista Kennedy, and Todd McGowan. Professor Gail Hamner will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Evil We Desire: Akrasia and the Ethics of Conspiracy Rhetoric.”
